3G helps Ace Cafe London Celebrate 70th anniversary of a legend

We are helping the legendary Ace Cafe London to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its original opening back in 1938. The cafe was originally opened on the North Circular Road in London, as a transport cafe for truck and lorry drivers. The cafe quickly became a place where motorbike riders gathered and this year, a number of celebrations have been planned to commemorate the opening including the 15th Annual Ace Cafe Reunion Weekend & Ride with the Rockers. We have been working closely with the Ace Cafe London catering team to ensure its celebrations run smoothly and its customers get great food and ‘ace’ service 70 years on.

The Ship & Mitre pub in Liverpool’s Business District has traditionally been famous for its selection of real ales and imported lagers. However, thanks to the hard work of David Burgan and his in-house catering company, the Burning Kitchen, the Ship & Mitre is now gaining a reputation for having some of the best burgers in town. We supply the Burning Kitchen with its most exotic range of burgers – premium Wild Boar and Bison burgers. These, along with the Burning Kitchen’s home made creations, are going down a storm with the Ship & Mitre’s clientele and create a real point of difference on the menu. In light of this, the Ship & Mitre was recently named as one of the best places to buy a burger in Liverpool by local lifestyle magazine, Liverpool.com.

3G sponsors ‘Catering Team of the Year’ Award

We recently sponsored the ‘Catering Team of the Year’ award, at Quantum Care Home’s annual staff awards ceremony. Quantum is a specialist residential care home company based in Welwyn Garden City, and the ceremony, which was held in May, celebrated the achievements of Quantum’s staff across a number of areas including care, catering and leadership. We were responsible for visiting and assessing the catering operation at a number of Quantum’s 27 residential homes across southern England, to determine which home deserved the first prize.
